This one day workshop is suitable for beginners and it is a great introduction to printmaking as a whole. Monotype is one of the simplest and most direct forms of printmaking and no other process rivals Mono-type for its directness and simplicity. Prints can be made using leaves and stencils, painting directly to the plate or by the 'subtractive' method of drawing into the inks or wiping away areas of rolled out colour.
